As the contact from last year I've been sent the booking form for the club for this year :

http://www.rallyday.com/

Join Europe's Premier Rally Car Show this year with your club and enjoy yet another fantastic event!

2016’s show is looking to be as big as ever with the main feature being a celebration of the last RAC Rally held in Bath 30 years ago as well as a look back at the Group B greats also not seen competitively for 30 years. Expect plenty of star cars and drivers from then in attendance!

The event will also prominently feature the current world of rallying with the track actually being operated as 3.7 mile tarmac rally stage for the majority of the show before reverting to open track sessions at the end of the day. Both stage runs and track sessions can be purchased by club members*

The majority of this year's car club displays will be located in the circuit's camp car park which is very accessible from the main Paddock, track and spectator  viewing area.

Club prices:
£15 per club pass until 31st March, then £18 each
£15 per display car passenger
£15 per Rallyday Stage run
£28 per 10 minute Track Session

Hi All,

This is a HUP on the Topic and a bit more information Smiley

I've been sent the application form for the Club and have confirmed we'd like to come and will need to send it back with payment for what we want ( sometime in August I expect ).

Reading the original post Smiley , I see that they've changed the format in that for nearly the whole day ( from 9 - 4pm ) the track will operate as a tarmac rally stage with cars being sent off at 2 minute intervals ( this is the same layout as they use during the lunch period from the special cars - which will still happen ). This means you buy a rally stage run (£15) and join the pit queue when you want to have your go. Rallyday have said that they'd like to cars on track that match the theme of day ( ie: cars that were rallied - which is quite a lot of our models ) but there's no scrutineering.

So, if you'd like to come along then please drop me a line. (I'll certainly try the tarmac rally stage as it seems a lower risk than a track session with 'unknown' cars)  I'll accept payment via paypal when I know numbers and want to send off the Form. Then I'll post out the passes when I receive them from Rallyday.

However, once the Form goes off then it's harder to alter things and so there generally won't be any last minute passes or track runs - I always get asked and can't do much about it.

If you haven't been before then it's a fun day out , lots going on and access all around the circuit to view and look at all the cars including the paddock area. Last year Lancias were all grouped in one area and we're usually right in the centre ( that is Lancia Motor Club, Club LanciaSport and the Stratos Enthusiasts )

Hi Steve,

We are in Chippenham visiting friends for this weekend, can I just turn up on the day as a spectator & watch? If so i'll give my Fulvia a little (400 mile return) spin out.

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul - yes of course - along with 10,000 other people Smiley That is a little warning to say that it gets quite busy - I don't know how busy as I tend to get there around 7:45 and park up and it's fine ...

Nice day out, decided to take the Fulvia- 425 mile round trip with no issues & 34 mpg average too. Unfortunately couldn't get it into the show (athough I did try), ended up in the public car park.

It was  great seeing all the cars in particular my favourites - the 037's, although the Waldegard Stratos was amazing too and the stand full of Evo's and Stratos's also shone.

Attached are a few snaps, sorry there weren't any more as the battery on my phone died, although no doubt Tony's got that covered.

An event that's still on my "maybe next year" list - my brother's stag weekend this time...  Looks like the weather was on your side and a really good Lancia turnout.
