Government Scrappage Schema - Lancia Statistics

This came from a pistonheads article http://www.pistonheads.com/news/general-pistonheads/save-our-sheds/33957 where there's been some pictures on the scrapped cars that are sat on an airfield in Bedfordshire. Out of interest, I've downloaded the government statistics on the cars and filtered on Lancia. Here are the numbers :

I wonder what the storage costs are at Thurleigh and what the environmental impact is of all the energy required to transport them there and to process them as scrap?

The only surprises on the scrappage are the Beta Spider, Integrale 16v and Fulvia, all presumably in roadworthy, but fairly desperate condition?

Overall, they didn't get many, good!

Yes, so roadworthy as above, but presumably the owners knew there was a lot of work coming their way! Even so, a basket case Fulvia would be worth a lot more than the scrappage money now.
