Looks to be in very nice condition although at £24K also looks expensive for a 1300 steel bodied S2

Yes, I thought the price a little ambitious, Hagerty values are £19800 for excellent & £26800 for concours. Looks to have nice paint in what I assume is the correct white. Maybe the engine bay though doesn't quiet match the price.
I also noticed the car has Hf head restraints, or at least one on the drivers side does! My seats have the holes for these but were taken out before I bought it, unfortunately.

I have to say a sport is tempting me..... are the back seats usable for kids? - they look more 'lightweight' than a coupe...

They are a bit of a token seat. The back rest is just a padded metal bar and that has lightening holes in it. Probably be more of a headrest for kids but sure how it would stand up in an accident?

Hi Dave I would say about the same as the Flaminia, the latest purchase has a roll bar and only one front seat, so I would say the Flaminia is better. I always thought of making a rear ‘seat’ cushion for the Flaminia, you see a few GTs with these now and again. But as mentioned beofre the family don’t like traveling in the car. That's gorgeous. White can make a lot of modern cars look like a blob because it kills any subtle styling lines. I think in this case it just looks cool and summery. Perfect for reflecting the Italian sun as you waft along.

I am 5ft 11 and my 8 year old sits behind me, whilst my 12 yr old sits behind my wife in our 1600 Sport. Just been on the GNW c/w weekends luggage with no probs. It's not what you call spacious but acceptable. |

dont you have to have child seats these days too? The standard front seats in a Sport are excellent though.
Interesting to compare valuations with the Alfa GT 1300 Junior Zagato. That Hagerty site has a value of £31000 for an excellent car, fewer Alfas but a big price difference.

my 2 older kids are now on the edge of booster seat/no booster so I think I can get away with nothing if the seat is actually usable. Very mixed views here!
My wife doesn't like my flaminia either - too much wind and engine noise - but the kids love it - hence thinking of something I can get all three in and give the wife some time off!

Depending upon the age of the car and if seat belts are not fitted then I understand that you don't require a child seat. Once a child becomes 135cm tall then they can legally ride in a car without a child seat. I do not use a booster seat for our 8 yo Sam although he is only 134cm tall as the shape of the Fulvia Sports rear seat is not ideal for one (although it is possible to fit) but both boys do wear seat belts that I had fitted.

In my opinion, if there are no seat belts and that situation accords with the current legal requirements, then the use of child seats is not required, it is not appropriate and is in fact downright dangerous!!!!
I do not have and have never used child seats in my Appia or Flavia and that situation will not change unless I install seat belts!!
