I have recently unearthed a large cache of special tools which I think are probably for the Beta model.
Most of them have six figure part numbers preceded by *88* and a few are stamped FIAT-SAT-A followed by a five figure number.
At this stage I am posting the information and pictures in the hope that someone can help me identify what the individual tools are for, via the part numbers or any particular ones people may recognize. I suspect item 80 is a Beta hub nut spanner.
I shall be looking to dispose of them but feel I need to know what they are first! In particular if any are for the Fulvia I should keep them as I might need them myself (if I ever get my Fulvia finished!)

I'm sure Tim will recognise the ones that the Club already have. If not perhaps the Club could buy the ones you don't want?

They do look familiar and replicate at least 60% of the clubs special tools. If I had a listing from Ben I could check.

The four in the "829" column look like Fulvia rear hub tools. Some cars had six pin and some three pin tools depending on the number of indents in the castellated nuts. You can check that on your own car I guess. Hope this gets the ball rolling.

Hi Ben - I have a digital copy of a Lancia Tools catalogue - I think for Fulvia and Beta. I've attached a picture of a page that shows tools 88-012-161 and 88-012-162. They seem to match with your photograph. I haven't looked beyond these couple of parts but I'd imagine that many/most of the tools you show are included in the catalogue. It's a massive (and very, very interesting) document , and I'm not sure where I got it from! The file is about 100MB so too big to e-mail but I'll take a stab at breaking down into sections over the next few days. Failing that I'll find a way to paper-mail a copy to you. Cheers, Norm

Ben - I have split the Tools Manual PDF file into 10 sections: Intro; Engine; Clutch/Gearbox/Propshaft; Rear Axle & Suspension, etc etc. The original manual is 332 pages long, so some of these sections are still pretty big - the largest is around 20MB in size. Should I try sending them individually to your e-mail address? I could try one first as a test, and see if it gets through your mail server ok.

Hi all,
It would be great if this document could be uploaded to the member’s technical section, so all members could download it. Especially as the difficult / time consuming part of scanning has been done, as I am embarking on a fulvia sport restro, and document like this would be a great help.

Julian Do you mean the library as the forum cannot handle such large documents. There are other digitised tool lists available for example the dvd from Angela Vershoors Flavia book has this or Fulvia Flavia and Flaminia but that generation of document does not identify the car model of the tool just the tool type ie engine, gearbox etc, spanner utility etc... Hi Peter Can you advise me how to access the data on the tools that you have got from Norm please. And perhaps in the meantime tell me what the pins, item 88 013 153 , are used for?
I am wondering if you intend looking up the rest of my list and letting me know what they are for as I would be very happy if that was your intention!
Best regards Ben
