It is so difficult to judge the amount of work that may be needed to bring this one up to a usable condition. To make it concours would be expensive!! However, a cursory look from the few photographs seems to indicate it is complete and the engine runs, but that doesn't mean a lot and a little more detail would have helped. The interior would be hugely improved with a clean and some elbow grease!! A full respray is obviously required, I have never worked on a car with an aluminium body, but hopefully it would not require that much fettling. No photographs under the car, what is the chassis like? ... and what are the alloy panels like where they abut the chassis? ..... that could be serious money!!!!
I might well be in bed when this ends (another 0630 start), so will someone please post on here how it ended.

I suspect serious bidders will have investigated in depth. The fact that it has previously had a body refurbishment started may suggest that it is sound in wind and limb with only the cosmetics needing serious work. Given that nice ones are topping £100k it leaves a big margin to pay for further work.

To restore one of these properly is expensive. At least 6 figures I would say (€ or £ or $) but they are lovely cars albeit not so carefully constructed bodywise when new. And they are an acquired taste to drive. We had a beautiful 3C GTL when we were in our 30's and never really appreciated it ..........but then as now I still always preferred driving an Aurelia B20 on a long journey. Personal taste of course.
