I didn't realise that Fessia was responsible for Flaminia?

Yes, Fessia joined Lancia in 1955 at the beginning of the Presenti era. I don't think you could say he conceived or originated the Flaminia, it was more of a transitional model in terms of his tenure. Pinninfarina conceived and developed the concept but Fessia would have been responsible for it's translation into a production model which was done in house by Lancia. The conventionally hung doors may be his influence as the Florida 1 concept had Aurelia style pillarless construction.
