Hi all
I have been informed by the LMC that they have arranged for balloons and a cake to celebrate the Appia's 70th Birthday! So this is a plea for 'maximum effort' to get as many people there as possible. Sarah and I will be there about 10am to put the pergola up and set up the spares I will be bringing down, so any one who is staying the Saturday night and is at loose ends on Sunday morning come and find us in the big field.

Hi all
Some news from the Consortium is mainly we are swamped with spares and I have had to buy some more shelving and start a rearrangement of the unit. I passed on the BigDug shelving and have gone for some shelving made in Birmingham! Pictures to follow. Hopefully we can replace the plastic shelving as it is a bit wobbly.

As promised...these shelving units are a bit more rigid than big dugs and are nicer to look at, again the only tools are a hammer and a block of wood.

There was a worktop next to the sink held in with sealer so that was hoyed out another set of shelves should just fit next to the one shown in the picture. The plan is to spend some time sorting all the spares in the bankers boxes into correct numerical order and if I have the patience into correct part number per Tab so in the first box would be Tab 1 parts 1-10...also a database of the stock would be useful. I used to have one from when Don Cross ran the Consortium but it has a password on it so was a bit limited, I will try and find it. A lot of the spares are in big plastic crates so it would be nice to get rid of those and put the spares in smaller boxes.
