there's more...I can only give SGS a plug for the dollies we used to move the car after we got it off the back of the wagon they are a godsend.

All in all a success as it belted it down the next day and the driver had not put the tarp back on and the bonnet and boot were not attached to the car Phew!

Hi all
I was having a rummage around the S2 and found the heater on the back seat so that explains the two hoses in the engine bay! In addition to that I came across a pair of rear wings in aluminum (I will get some photos) that I assumed were from a slightly more exotic version but now look to me to have been fabricated for a S2.
Still left to collect from Scotland are :-
Appia engine S3
Flavia engine
Appia gearbox
Appia front & rear axles
Appia boot lid x 2
Flavia boot lid
Appia bonnet S2
Appia bumper front S2
Flavia front seats x 4
Appia front seats x 2
Flavia back seat
Appia back seat
6 door panels
small engine parts just 8 boxes worth
and a few bits of trim
I will be checking the weather forecast next week and planning the trip round that thing is I'm a bit worried about access see pic

Hi all
I am contemplating a newsletter hopefully before Christmas and was considering producing a PDF version as well as a printed one. The beauty of the PDF version it enables printing of individual pages, can be read on various devices and saves the consortium cash! So any budding authors don't be shy get an article off to me and it will be included deadline will be around the middle of November.

the dearth of articles will mean I will be forced to call on my back up contributor...you know who you are...
So far I have an article on getting a Vignale to move under it's own power, a nifty mod on the clutch release sleeve oil seal ( that leather thing that won't fit) and the one you have all been waiting for if I can get him to write up the experience namely the cern and those noises from under the car. We have also had members with clutch problems and my complete lack of progress on the S1 restoration. Hopefully if the S2 can be moved on up or out I can get the engine back in......only how many days to Christmas. On top of that we may be moving house AARRGGHH!!

The blue S2 is still snoozing in the unit as it failed to meet it's reserve on Ebay...still a Lancia enthusiast is coming to have a look next weekend so hopefully it will find a new home
