The 96 Club’s monthly gatherings in Chesham Place Gardens continue to be agreeable events and yesterday it was a field day for Lancia. The star of the show was the Astura Special, which was there for a pre-view in advance of its formal unveiling later in the autumn. This is the ex Ronald (‘Steady’) Barker car that has undergone a 50 year major rebuild. Other Lancias attending at various times included: Aurelia B24, Flaminia, Fulvia Coupe, Flavia 2000 HF and no less than three Fulvia Berlinas, including FAY and the ever present KPD.
