I am looking at remaking Aprilia petrol pumps using a design/manufacturer that I have been successfully using on the Appias for a while

Is anybody interested in one if I can make them for less than £50 each ?

I would like to retain the original style, ie banjo connection with the possibility of refitting the side-fitting filter as well. However they will not be identical

Thanks

Well, good on you Simon but I have long since gone over to an electric one and three petrol filters!

Thanks for your replies, I have sent off a sample to get a quote and will keep you informed !

David , can you be tempted to return to a mechanical pump (with electric back up) ?

I have fitted and run the Aprilia with the new pump - this isn't my definitive set up because I need to remake the rigid pipes and I'm waiting for all the bits

However, you can see that it fits well alongside the original style filter. The inlet side is slightly higher , but the more important outlet is correct (+/- a couple of mm).

I have shown an original pump/filter alongside for comparison - you could even change the Phillips screws for slotted screws to look even better !

Price will be about 50€ each depending on how many people commit - I need 10 in total (I will have 3) so please let me know asap

Thanks

Great news, the petrol pumps arrived today !

There was an error with the initial batch and they had to be remade. I have checked each one today and they look good .....

I will be in touch with everyone who ordered one (or more) in the next couple of days
