Title: Re: 1968 LANCIA FLAVIA COUPE Post by: williamcorke on 17 July, 2023, 06:04:04 PM I owned this car for a few years in the late 90s. It's a RHD conversion and until relatively recently had a rather nice set of Abarth Mag Alloys on it. Didn't look as scabby when I owned it, but really it was not that great underneath - a lot of yellow chalk marks after the last MoT attempt before a sold it - with all faults disclosed! - for quite a lot less than I'd paid.
It drove really well and the engine was totally untemperamental and - from memory - definitely felt a bit more powerful than the 1800 Carb in my current Flavia Vignale. Title: Re: 1968 LANCIA FLAVIA COUPE & 1952 LANCIA ARDEA Post by: MisterNick on 27 July, 2023, 07:33:46 AM No details yet -

As to interesting conversions, my son put an 1800 Fiat twin cam in his HB Viva which was rather fun and the hot rod shop he worked at had a splt screen moggy as the workshop pet. That had flip front under which lurked a twin turbo 4.2 litre TVR V8 out of a Cerbera. It looked like a shed but seriously surprised a lot of hot modern machinery.

I called in on ACA today to have a look at a couple of other cars but wanted also to have a look at the Ardea not knowing much about them and not sure I've ever seen one, but what a lovely looking car, looks pretty well done by my eyes too. Lovely interior, nice paint, tidy engine bay, if anyone is looking for a 50's Lancia I'd say it looks perfect, turn the key and use it. Much better to turn up at a classic show in than an Austin 7 or Morris Minor and not a huge amount more expensive if the guide price is in the ballpark. And no, it's not mine that I'm trying to sell! In fact if the Mrs wasn't with me today and rightly asked "what would you do with it" I'd be revved up to buy it myself by now! ;D Title: Re: 1968 LANCIA FLAVIA COUPE & 1952 LANCIA ARDEA & 1968 MORRIS MINOR ‘LANCIA TWIN-CA Post by: MisterNick on 20 August, 2023, 04:17:36 PM 1968 LANCIA FLAVIA COUPE - Estimate: £2,500 - £3,500 - Result inc Premium: £5,076
