Spotted this on eBay today. It's got some interest already!

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lancia-Thesis-2-4-JTD-Manual/264959056715?hash=item3db0ca5b4b:g:kL4AAOSwz6tfxYK6

Doesn't look like it'll come with the Polish registration documents so how easy is it get registered in the UK? Obviously the buyer isn't allowed to drive it in the UK so collection/delivery is going to be expensive! Unless you're already in Devon!

Might not be as easy to register as says here, but as there's been more than one Thesis in the UK shouldn't be impossible.

Shame it's so far away - I'd be tempted if it was nearer and could be seen before the auction ended.

Quite a nice car by the looks of it.
I've had a few Alfa's with the 2.4 JTD engine, not sure if that one has the 20V engine? In the 156 the 20V was still nice, in the later Brera it got to around 200bhp but MPG was dire, low 30's... I always found the 10V engine simpler as less keen to throw up fault codes and go into limp mode..

For those wanting it companies like shipley are still operating, reckon on under £1 per mile if you leave it a few days to get quotes,
Getting it UK registered is just paperwork, no duty to pay as over 10 years old.
Manual as well, would make a great car  Cool

Already got a 2.4 in the 159 Ti Q4 Sportwagon so the engine doesn't phase me, it's probably got the F40 gearbox too and is just about run in and I love the colour too. Electronics - it probably has the same ICS system that the Alfa 166 has - worlds worst sat nav, out of date un not updatable! Left hooker doesn't put me off either but just don't need car 4 at the moment. I'm sure whoever ends up with it will enjoy it, it's a shape that's grown on me over the years. Photographs don't do it justice!

I came across the same car advertised on Gumtree earlier in the year for 995.00 ono

Still was not expensive, but could of been a better bargain, must apologize for not making it known to the club earlier.

Relisted. Buyer couldn't;t work out distances or realised it might be harder to register than they thought?

I bought the car last week for £800. It’s. Bit of a punt to be honest as it’s been stood for a while. It’s with my local garage so let’s see what it costs to get back on the road!

Congratulations! Great buy, hopefully it's a straight forward job to get it up and running properly and registered here. Let us know how you get on with it?
