London Classic Car Show - 25-27 June- Syon Park
« on: 02 December, 2020, 01:11:57 PM »
Hi All,

I got an email from the above saying the Lancia Club had a presence there. I can't see anything about it on this forum. Does anyone know anything about it?

Cheers
Dave

Once again we have been invited to the London Classic Car Show, however the 2021 date and locations have been changed, due to Covid-19 which has had huge impact on the events industry and car shows alike, it now been moved to a later date in April and as an outside covered event, which fully Covid-19 compliant. This meets all the key government guidelines and will ensure from the outset that the event is safe for both visitors and exhibitors alike.

Next year we will have a special centenary display for the Lambda. The show organisers are keen to help celebrate this wonderful car and have given us a large stand for a number of Lambdas and other models through the years to be a real feature for the Lancia marque.

(There will be some information in the January VL)

2021 London Classic Car Show will take place at Syon Park from 16th - 18th April.

Tickets will go on sale from Thursday 26th November and start from £25 for a Standard Adult ticket in advance (£30 on door). In line with Covid guidelines, capacity will be restricted, and visitors are advised to book in advance to secure their tickets.

The organisers of the London Classic Car Show have moved the show to a later date, the new planned date is June 25th to 27th, it will still be a Covid safe event and any tickets purchased will be accepted for the new dates in June.

Can I just say a big thank you to the LMC Committee and all the LMC members involved in making the LMC stand at Syon Park so impressive. I may be a bit biased but it was the best car club stand at the event by far, with a wonderful range of Lancias on display in addition to the majestic Lambdas and the wonderful Theta, and very friendly Club members in attendance. Brilliant.

Michael, thanks for your kind feedback, it did take a little planning for the last year or longer, with dates and requirements shifting due to Covid restrictions was a challenge at times.  It was well worth it in the end, the members, the car owners and families made the event, without them we would have struggled to get the range of cars especially range of Lambdas, eight in all was an impressive sight along with all the other wonderful Lancia (22 cars over three days)

We are not sure how we can match it next year!
