I have volunteered (again) to be the club rep for this event in April as I am only a few miles from Brooklands, I have contacted Auto Italia on the likely Lancia area, there is building work in progress in the Alfa area of the past few years, so that area has now presumably been lost, I await AI's reply, hopefully with a plan that I can share with you soon.

I have a proposed layout for the Italian Car day at Brooklands on 30/4, see attached, Lancia are not on the banking this year! Also Auto Italia have asked if we (LMC) and Club Lancia Sport can supply 10 special Lancias for the track demo and five for Test Hill, any volunteers? I have asked for details of the track demo (12.00 -13.00), I assume a drive around the Mercedes Benz World track next door.

Of course, but some may be more special than others!

I'd be quite happy to drive mine around the track , assuming it's a parade lap type thing and nothing fancy. It'd be nice to have a variety of cars though. I don't fancy the hill so much as it looked a bit hard !

Alright as long as you remember to lift your foot off before the crest, otherwise it's flying lessons and coming down to earth with a big clang, rather than a bump Brian 8227

Quick update: A few club cars have been selected to take part in a track display on the Mercedes Benz test track at midday, there will be 10 cars in each group running for four laps and following a pace car, other cars will be in action on the test hill in the afternoon.

I shall be there in my S2 Appia if you still need to know for numbers etc. I would be happy to do parade laps or the test hill but I guess it is too late for that now. Ben

Neil,
I'll be there in the Montecarlo and would like to do the track display if it's not too late, I'm not too sure about the hill but could possibly (?) be persuaded, although I'm getting more nervous as I write this.

Been asked to post this;
I'll mail the forum at the weekend, but the plan is to meet at Beaconsfield services on M40 at 08:00 for an 08:15 departure. It's one junction up the m40 from m25 so would we a good place for all coming from north and west. From m4 I'd advise coming up a404 to m40 then it's not so much of a detour. Nice roundabouts too ;-)
That should get us there just after 08:30.
Let's hope the weather hasn't done it's usual whenever the car comes out!!
Could someone post this on the LMC forum. I still can't pst on there because I'm not a member. Hopefully that will change as I have applied about 4 weeks ago.
