If you need a fix of Shropshire scenery and an opportunity to enjoy some great food, the Marches Transport Festival takes place in a couple of weeks in Ludlow. The show runs alongside the Spring Festival, a smaller version of the famous Ludlow Food Festival. Entrants get the rare opportunity to park their cars in the grounds of the Castle. There are various categories for pre and post war cars and more modern cars of special interest. If you've never been to Ludlow I can recommend it. The timewarp De Greys tearoom is just round the corner as is La Becasse restaurant, one of the finset places to eat in the UK.
I know there are lots of members that have visited Ludlow on either the Giro, Sliding Pillar or Gamma meets, so if anyone's interested in a mini-Giro (Girocino?) I can contact the organisers to see if we can get a club entry. It's worth a drive just for the Spring Food festival.
