anyone interested in a thema v6 auto? belonged to the late norman stewart and has been in storage the last 20 yrs! very good condition however will need recomissioning ie service + brakes sorting , maybe some new parts with it to,bodily looks in excellent condition, would be a shame to see such a good example go to a none enthusiast but apparently must go this week, please contact me on 01978 757052 (business) or 07961713441 anytime if seriously interested, james

I presume its a UK spec Series 1 V6 and not a series 2 import?

Considering it's history and previous ownership, can this car not be saved by the club if no individual buyer can be found. Same with Beta Pick up if it's in a similar precarious position? Just a thought.

Pretty sure the pickup has now gone, it looks better in the photos than it is it needs bonnet wings and repairs to the door bottoms however the main structure is excellent, the thema is pretty mint with zero rust however no keys  Huh? the car is unlocked and has alot of potential , there are spares with it too, its done 103,000 miles but interior and body look more like 40,000 miles, if the club were to buy it i would happily contribute to buying but it would have to move fast, also where to keep it? its a real shame for it to go to a none enthusiast but i think thats what will happen, the owner wants oiro 500 pounds for it but wants to keep the plate when its tested , i think that i could get it for 400 ish though

Probably worth contacting the boys at TDC as they might have room for it at Clyro being it's a Thema.

I think I can speak on behalf of the TDC and whilst we would love to have the car to protect it from falling into the wrong hands, the sad reality is that we just would not be able to raise £400 to buy it, nor can we afford to buy anymore storage space.

We are struggling a bit with membership these days, which sadly means that all the hard work of dismantling and storing car parts may be lost just at a time when the cars start to need the weird odds and ends that we have stock piled for so long.

I sincerely hope the car gets a good home as the V6 Auto is a hugely underrated version of the Thema and is my favourite (I currently drive a Series 2 V6 Auto imported from Switzerland).
